My students need materials such as the Magnetic Letter Builders to help them learn how to write the letters as they learn the names of them.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are 4 year olds. They come to school ready to start building the foundations of their learning. I have a morning and afternoon session, which means I teach 40 students with different interests and abilities. They are eager to explore and learn in many different ways even though many of them don't speak English.
The students make every minute count and they are becoming lifelong learners on the road to reaching their dreams.
Their school day is only 3 hours so they need to get the most of every learning experience I can offer them.
My Project
My students are going to be coming to school in August for the very first time. I need to start teaching them how to learn how to recognize and write the letters of the alphabet.
Before they can learn to write the letters, they need to learn to look at the letters and see that the letters are made of sticks, curved lines, and circles.
This project will allow them to take the letters apart and put them together. It will also let them touch the letters with different texture. This will help all the different types of learners be able to recognize and write the letters.
