Help me give my students an interactive writing surface to use during our small group lessons! What better way to do this than by providing them a dry erase top kidney table!
Our students are very diverse and come with many different backgrounds and their own individual stories! They are unique in their own ways! Many of our students also have military connections as we are a heavily populated military town! Our school is located very close to a naval base on the east coast and we have a lot of families from our military that their children attend our school! (Yay and Thank You to our service members!)
They are highly motivated students who love to move around the room and work together to learn!
They are always ready to learn and they love the every chance they get to find their own places to sit and work!
My Project
This table will enhance their learning environment by giving them a large space to write on and work collaboratively together. We use our current kidney table every day but we are unable to write on it as it does not erase well at all! During each day we complete small group reading lessons as well as small group math lessons.
A dry erase kidney table will excite, engage, and enhance my students work space!
My students are hard workers and giving them this ability to write and collaborate during our small group instruction will be a great gift to them!
One of our daily goes it to learn many different strategies on how to work out our math work and what that looks like. The students will love being able to learn this through writing on a table that is meant to be written on!
