Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing. I have a very diverse group of learners. Each learns in their own unique way. I have hands-on learners and I have been blessed to have many manipulatives for these students to work with. I have students who are auditory learners and have been blessed to have speakers where they can listen to many different lessons and listen to videos of explanations on specific topics. Finally, I have visual learners who are able to learn through watching and using the board. Unfortunately my board does not support enough room for the students and myself to be successful in the is
My Project
These whiteboards will enhance my students' learning. The students will be able to work peer-to-peer with these whiteboards as well as be able to work in whole-group settings that will allow myself to assess the students quickly. I will be able to color code the boards based on the markers so that I can group students. They will meet the needs of all my students learning styles. It will help students who learn visually and hands on. These whiteboards will also help to enhance decoding. Students will be able to use the whiteboards for spelling and grammar strategies. I am so excited to have these to use!
