My Students

I teach twenty-eight,fourth-grade students. I also work with students in other classes that speak another first language (ESL). They benefit from the use of whiteboards and markers to show their understanding. They also love all of our amazing computer programs that help them with math, language arts, science, and social studies.

My students are very creative and love to work on the whiteboards to help them with math and writing stories.

They love to help each other in math and science. They would really benefit from having more markers, headphones, and headphone holders.

My Project

We use a lot of computer programs that have sound. I have some headphones, but not enough for all of my students. The headphones that we do have end up on the floor a lot of the time because there is no place to store them. These extra headphones and the headphone holders with cord organizers will give each student a chance to use the headphones without them getting stepped on or damaged.

We also use a lot of dry erase markers showing work for math.

These markers will allow my students to show their work in both math and science, without the worry of not having enough markers to express their ideas.
