I serve some very bright-eyed students. These students are hungry for information. It's my job they get fed on a daily, no hourly, basis. I have a duty to help these students find their voice, discover their passions, and bring real-world skills to both.
We have done marvelous things in class, and I want this to continue with the new batch of students I'll be serving this year.
But, that means we often need help from people outside our class to see this occur.
My Project
Each of my students will need a copy of the text A Wrinkle in Time in class. As we are reading this, we are working on activities that help us understand the material in a new way. They will use the audio book to help them better comprehend what they are reading.
We are having to use our imaginations to go on this grand adventure through time and space.
Students are being exposed to a fantastic piece from the Science Fiction genre. They are learning that there are so many good books out there; we can't just go by pictures and text size.
