Wright's Readers 2
My students need a collection of entertaining books, dry erase markers, plastic magazine organizers and other classroom supplies.
I don't have a favorite book, but I have a lot of books that are my favorites! Please help me put some more of my favorites in my students' hands. We'll even be able to experience new titles together if we are granted these supplies.
My group of 2nd graders are very motivated and would love a larger classroom library.
They are so excited about any book they read by themselves or with me. They, and I, really have a passion for reading and learning.
We would really love to enlarge our classroom library to help my students reach their full potential this year. My students need a collection of entertaining books, dry erase markers, plastic magazine organizers and other classroom supplies.
The books requested include thematic books, student library books, writing skills books, and books to compare to classics. These would enable me to have more engaging lesson plans. The more students can be in front of a large variety of literature, the better their skills will become. If we are granted these books, my students will be able to have more titles in their book boxes. The supplies requested could support current reading programs in my room such as Daily Five, Readers Theater, Toolkit, Reader's Workshop and Literacy Stations.
We'd also like the clock game for math and the beakers for science. Our class would love to have the file folders, book boxes and magnets for organization.
I can use these books for thematic units.
They will help students process topics better and further learning. Many students never read on the level they are supposed to at the time they are supposed to, but I am committed to helping my students make over a year's worth of growth. I hope to have these supplies to help me do it.
