I teach 21 kindergarten students who are eager to learn. Approximately 85% of our children qualify for free lunches.
My students come to school every day excited about learning and can't wait to find out what the day holds for them.
They are thrilled to be learning to read! The students in my class learn best through hands-on activities. They love playing with their friends and are very social. Technology engages them in learning and helps them learn at their level. Many of them face challenges outside of school, and I want to do all I can to give them engaging learning experiences while they are at school.
My students chose an animal to research for their end of the year project to share at our kindergarten celebration. Upon completing their research, students will work on a presentation to share with families at our celebration.
We do not have an art teacher at our building, so my students would love to learn from an expert!
Hot Pots Creative Studio has agreed to come in and teach my students about painting pottery. Students will have the opportunity to paint an animal figurine. This will be taken back to the studio, glazed and fired. I will pick them up in time to share them at our end of the year celebration. Students will then have this piece to take home.
My students love art, especially painting, and I know they will be so excited to have an expert come and share their talents.
