Although our students may live in a small town, they are just like any other kids in big cities across the country. These guys want to hang out with their friends, play on their electronic devices, and win every ball game. But they are incredibly limited due to the high poverty level around them.
Our class provides our students with new equipment and experiences that inspire them to think and create!
Many are limited to accessing technology only while at school and we strive to boost their learning opportunities and experiences with unique resources and projects.
My Project
These requested items will enable and empower my students as they continue to learn even as the school year wraps up. From the Squigz for team building to the scissors and vinyl for our cutting machines, each item is valued in our program. New earbuds will enable my students to listen to learning tutorials and bulletin board border will be the perfect addition to their graphics. With the USB printer cords, they'll even repair a classroom printer.
With their self-directed learning projects, students work on a variety of projects throughout the year and this learning continues even after the school year concludes.
These requested tools are always in demand in our classroom and are very much appreciated.
