My students need hands-on centers, such as Compound words Lacers, Synonym/Antonym Lacers and Literacy Centers, to help help them become better readers and lifelong learners. My students will be learning and having fun!

The best part about being a teacher is seeing your students excited about learning. Engaging my students with hands-on learning materials will help me reach this goal! My students come to school everyday ready to learn and they are excited about learning!
This project will help my class become better readers and writers.
I want my students to experience learning by immersing themselves in it. Supplying my students with hands-on learning centers will allow them to gain and use various reading and writing skills. Our school is a wonderful inner city school. We are a public school a low income community where over 95% of the student population receives free or reduced lunch. My students love the safe and caring environment of our classroom and school.
My students need hands-on centers, such as Compound words Lacers, Synonym/Antonym Lacers and Literacy Centers, to help help them become better readers and lifelong learners. My students will be learning and having fun! In order for my students to get excited about reading and writing, I need to engage them with a variety of fun, exciting literacy centers! These centers will introduce and expose, develop and strengthen new concepts without them even knowing they are working and simultaneously learning. Centers will promote a positive self esteem and allow my students to become confident in their learning styles. Not only will these centers help strengthen student knowledge about a variety of reading and writing concepts and skills, they will also aid in the preparation for standardized testing.
I believe these centers will allow my students to be better prepared for standardized testing and foster a love for learning.
Let's work together to reach this goal! Learning should be fun and engaging! Read, Set, Learn!
