This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Attention leapfrog readers wanted! LeapFrog Tag Readers can give my students the confidence they need to become independent readers. Tag readers and books are the way to provide engaging instructional technology in the classroom. Helping kids with essential reading skills and comprehension.
My students are eager to learn to read, but many may not have books at home.
I have a wonderful group of students that are just beginning to learn English. Their reading and language abilities vary in my combination Transitional Kinder/Kindergarten classroom. My students love to listen to stories. Our parents are struggling to make ends meet in today's economy. Our school qualifies for one-hundred percent free lunch. I want to provide my students with an environment filled with books and tools to help them gain the basic skills to become independent readers. I can inspire and motivate my students to become long life readers!
My Project
The LeapFrog Tag Readers, and tag book set can give my students an opportunity to listen to good stories being read out loud. The supper tag speller gives the kids essential skills in letter recognition, letter names ,and sounds using amazing touch technology. The tag readers makes learning to read an exciting experience as words talk and stories come to life! The tag readers are an interactive multiple sensory reading program. It will strengthen reading skills and reading comprehension. Students will be sure to stay engaged while building their reading fluency.
The LeapFrog Tag Readers will make a great independent learning center.
I need to provide my students that are ready for independent activities with tools that will build confidence in literacy skills. I can work with my students that need more support. The tag readers are the key that opens their senses to reading and learning independently with characters that they love! In addition, the classic book set provides a library stocked with appealing children's literature. Give the gift of reading!
