My students need a document camera so I can share Reading and Social Studies text, pictures, trade books, and photos.

I teach some at-risk students that would greatly benefit from this technology. Many of my students are weak readers that need to be excited about learning. Some students are from families that are struggling financially during these tough economic times.

My students are excited about famous Americans who were involved with the Civil War. We are making "paper" Facebook pages on these famous Americans. This helps the students learn by using a hands-on approach.

We need a document camera in our classroom to further build on their enthusiasm for learning about our country's history.
