My Students

I teach at a large elementary school in Hamilton County, Tennessee. We have a very socio-economically diverse student population with a rural student body. We are a Title I school, so many of our families rely on our community to support their diverse needs. We have a large population of special needs students.

Our Lakers are vibrant, energetic, and eager to learn.

We need more support to ensure our students can take advantage of the latest trends in elementary education. Our district has become the fastest improving district in the Southeast, and we are motivated to continue to grow.

My Project

During times when remote or blended learning is necessary, this tool will help students interact with technology in amazing ways.

Young learners working remotely must be engaged at all times to make learning meaningful!

This tablet turns a pencil into a computer mouse, which will help me to be able to annotate documents and highlight important information for my students. Help my students stay engaged during remote and blended learning! This tool will draw the attention of my students to important sections of text, as well as help them solve math problems and label all parts of their work.
