Teaching Kindergarten is so exciting. I love to see how my students are so curious and very eager to learn! They absolutely love hands-on activities and engaging projects that prepare them through this academic journey called Kindergarten. They come to school each day, excited and ready to try new things. It is amazing to see their abilities through the learning opportunities they encounter. They are truly courageous, little learners.
Many of my students are from diverse, low-income households and the majority of them are of Hispanic descent where English is their second language.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work and learning options to ensure that each student needs are met. They are truly an incredible group of young learners!
My students are so motivated about learning how to read! They come to school every day ready to try their best and cheer each other on. They are very eager to read with me in small groups too. My students need sets of books on their level for me to guide them through the process of reading.
The books and materials for this project will help my student reach their goal of becoming successful readers!
Your donation will give my students exposure to a variety of books for them to gain the ability to becoming smart readers during this early stage in their academic career.
Implementing these new emergent level readers will enable my students to become independent readers. My goal for every one of my students is to see themselves as great readers and have fun developing a love for learning through books.
