My Students

Enhance the use of our Apple devices in the 1:1 classroom.

The middle school I teach at is located in Spartanburg School District Seven in South Carolina.

My classes are grouped according to a variety of mixed ability learning styles. Each class has between 21 and 26 students. The school is currently comprised of approximately 700 students in grades 6-8.

My Project

My Project: As an educator, I will encourage youth to learn through understanding the basis of their decisions or choices. I believe that inquiry-based learning can effectively address the needs of adolescent learning without the limitations of common textbook rote and note teaching. Integrating the maximum amount of both technology and various computational devices which are available is paramount with regards to maximizing the modern needs of a technological driven world.

As an educator we must stimulate the students' natural curiosity and encourage them to become eager independent learners.

We must provide an active hands-on learning climate, so students can process their understanding of information, and learn how to apply or relate it to new or previous experiences. In science, we must honor individual learning styles and needs, strive to provide a curriculum which will enhance all learning experiences.
