Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The area in which my school is located is in an area of poverty where parents are always working and cannot afford school supplies. My students are lacking many necessities. I want them to be successful third graders. This is just the beginning for them.
All students receive free lunch.
However, I want to make sure that they have everything that they need. These are the important years that will impact their learning forever. They are young and need to learn how to be great students.
My Project
We may be in the middle of a pandemic but school is still going on. We hope to return to the classroom but if we can't we are still going to collect pictures of Zoom events. With organized school supplies, we could create an amazing thing that will chronicle this unforgettable year.
Some of them live with their grandparents or are in foster homes.
That's why I want them to succeed in school. We need a reliable computer printer and some school supplies to put everything together. With a organized supplies, we would have way more apps that we can use create our on line learning.
