My Students

They are struggling with everything from boredom to depression. Also they are having issues with connecting to school. Most of them are still hanging in there, but they seem to be shutting down some and need a lift. I love that they are continuing on through all this pandemic craziness!

My Project

We are all doing distance learning in our school, and it is very likely that will not change for the high schoolers for the remainder of the year. When I get creative, I see the amount of participation increase. This in turn increases the students' ability to want to learn and to retain more information. I believe BrainPOP will help catch the attention of students who seem to be slipping away. Also, I believe it will bring back some students who have lost interest in learning since it is all always on the computer.
