World Geo Standing Style

My students need these stand up desks to accommodate for their different learning styles. These desks would allow for flexible seating, and give them the ability to be more mobile and comfortable while learning world geography.

My Students

My students come from a variety of backgrounds. We have a diverse population at our school, including English Language learners, PBI, and special education. My students are learning a very new concept, World Geography. They are opening their eyes to the huge world we live in, cultures from around the world, and how to view the world on a more global scale. They are eager to learn about the concepts, and having stand up desks will allow for flexible seating and offer them to focus better. This will allow more, and different, seating options for my students to do their work in class.

My Project

My student's all have different learning styles and abilities. Regular school desks can be uncomfortable, after sitting in them for a while. I've provided them with pillows, stools, and tables.

Giving them the opportunity to use a standing desk, will allow them to be more comfortable, with flexible seating, in my classroom while learning.

Also, being able to work in a desk or standing up but still having a solid writing surface is important.

The donations for this project will improve my classroom by reducing the distractions and giving my students the opportunity to be more engaged in what they are learning, because I will be able to provide a different way to do the classwork and projects in my class.
