Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my classroom learn best when given fun and engaging hands on lessons. Core academic activities often consist of worksheets, file folder activities and task boxes. With this project I am hoping to provide my students with some new learning tools to help encourage engagement and excitement! My students will go crazy for the Lakeshore Ice Cream counting set! They will love the opportunity to practice their number skills all while doing it in a fun and engaging way. I also have many students who are working on their writing skills and would greatly benefit from the magnetic tracing activity. They are used to paper pencil tracing, so the opportunity to use a new cool tool will definitely get them excited.
