This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students and I have embarked on this remote learning process. We participate three times a week in Zoom meetings to go over our Math and Science concepts, and also to check in with each other. We record all our lessons so we may review and discuss them at a later point. We continue to learn new concepts and materials weekly and work hard on supporting each other. I am amazed by their level of engagement and participation, and families' willingness to try new things.

My Project

Faced with the challenges of remote learning, it becomes difficult to review and interact with my students virtually at times. This mobile easel will make it much easier to interact and reinforce concepts being taught. We can visually view the examples together and make changes as needed. We can copy these examples easily by referring back to the easel for support. I know my students would really appreciate the easel and dry erase marker set. During these challenging times, any help given towards making their transition easier is an additive bonus. Thank you.
