My Students
My student's are fun and adventurous first graders who love to learn and explore. My students come a large variety of backgrounds including military dependents. Having such diversity and range of background knowledge encourages scholars to learn from each other. I strive to create a supporting environment were we can do just that!
I use technology to engage students and enrich the learning environment.
My students are learning to use technology to expand their learning everyday from videos, websites and research opportunities, technology has allowed the world to come to into our classroom!
My Project
These materials will help my students have seating options that allow them to work easier in groups. They will be able to pull up a stool and work together in table groups, reading groups, math partners and do science experiments together! I am also excited to try a wobble stool in the classroom for students who need extra sensory movement to focus and complete work. I am also excited to have these stools that stack and make the best use of my classroom space. This will allow us to be adaptable and flexible in design and use of our classroom resources.
