Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a bilingual pre-kindergarten classroom in an industrial suburb of Houston. My students are English Language Learners in a Title I school in which more than ninety-five percent of students receive free or reduced-price lunch. I want to help my students develop and grow as much as possible while they are in my class.

My students are resilient and eager to learn.

I know they can overcome the challenges they face. It is important for me to get them the resources they need to be the best learners they can be. I know that with a little support, my students will thrive.

My Project

I want my students to have lots of hands-on activities that help them learn and practice academic skills. A great place to find these types of activities is on the Teachers Pay Teachers online store. Teachers create digital resources that can be instantly downloaded and are ready to use. I have often seen great resources that would help me with teaching and practicing alphabet skills and mathematical skills. Having a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help me use teacher created and teacher approved resources.
