My students are creative and use their creativity to express themselves. They are resilient learners who seek challenge and readily embrace world cultures.
My students are energetic, inquisitive, and engaged learners.
They love working with hands-on manipulatives, finding creative ways to explore world cultures, and taking ownership of their own learning. They are excited to learn! Most of my students live in low-income homes and work after school or on the weekends to help support their families. They are as dedicated to their learning as they are to their families. They are an amazing group of students!
I literally spend hours, days, and months of my free time outside of school brainstorming, creating, and writing fresh new lessons and activities each year for my students from scratch.
It's time for teachers like me to work smarter, not harder!
Each of us are experts in our own classrooms, but as a stand-alone, department-of-one teacher in my school, it is often difficult to find compatible teacher partners to discuss lessons and ideas specific to my content area: French language and culture. There are hundreds of other French teachers across the nation, though, who are working just as hard as I am at creating custom lessons, projects, and activities for their classrooms. Teachers Pay Teachers is the perfect outlet for us to support one another by sharing our own resources with other classrooms.
It is important to me that we compensate the educators at Teachers Pay Teachers for the thousands of hours that go into creating the quality lessons that they share. By funding this Teachers Pay Teachers $100 gift card, you are not only helping me provide my students with high quality resources that have already be tested and perfected by teachers in other classrooms, you are also reducing my workload outside of the classroom, and supporting other teachers financially for their dedication to education. It's a win-win-win deal!
