Each student has a unique life, background, and they bring to school with them many different experiences. Our school is in a small town community with kids that help with farm chores, others help with baby siblings, and much more.
They're all different, but one thing is the same for all of my students...they want to learn.
My job is to give them the opportunity to grow. For my students, they will always take the challenge. Especially when it is given to them in an engaging way.
My Project
Students are always craving for more hands-on activities and it always instantly sparks engagement. I would like to focus more on building words using letter sounds. Alphabriks, letter beads, stamps and more will let students manipulate sounds to form words. Allowing the students choices of stations lets them take charge of their learning. With these centers building words will be instant fun. It's pretty neat when learning feels like play!
