My Students

The students that attend my class are all income-eligible to qualify for placement in the Head Start program. They range in education needs and individualization criteria. They want to be loved and connected with on their level. They crave creativity and activities that allow them to explore every aspect of their world.

These little people are the future and need a start in life that will last them for years to come.

Being able to do this requires the ability to provide them with materials and lessons that will spark their imagination.

My Project

We are in need of a writing center worthy of our students. They are amazing kids with giant imaginations and a thirst for being creative. Building a strong literacy and writing foundation is important to their future education.

Using their imagination to build creativity from their own ideas will will spark a love from literacy that will lead them into their future.

It is very important to build on this and let them be free to have the space and supplies in order to do it. With added space for supplies and stations these students will be able to grow into amazing learners.
