This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra! - Jimmy Johnson
My students are a great group of second-grade learners from different economic and social backgrounds that love to try new things.
They love reading, exploring, and everything about learning! Because they have a love for learning, I want to do everything in my power to make learning magical for them! I want to provide them with as many extras in their environment. Our classroom won't just be an uncomfortable place where we come to learn, but a place that is safe, secure, and where learning is fun!
My Project
The ipads will make a difference in my students' learning in many ways. First of all, all students will have a chance to use them. The ipads will be in stations for differentiated learning.
Students are excited when they take charge of their learning.
Often times the above level students are not challenged because we, teachers, work harder to get students on level. The ipads will be used to enrich those students who can learn on their own when given explicit instructions.
Ipads will also be used by students who don't have a working computer. These ipads will be a great asset to their learning environment..
