Work Out While Working!

Help me give my students a chance to burn off some energy during long classes! All the time at home during the pandemic has made sitting still for long periods of time difficult for us all!

My Students

Nearly fifty percent of our students were brought to the United States from refugee camps around the world. For many, this is only their first or second year in the county, as well as their first or second year attending school in a formal education setting. Our students are not just learning the same required content as those native-English speakers, but they are also learning to speak and read the English language, as well as learn the local culture. Our ESL students are hard-working and knowing that they were brought here for a better life, their determination and grit are admirable. Many of them are participants in various volunteer organizations learning how to give back to a country that has helped them so much.

My Project

I hope by using these chairs I have students who can focus more on the task at hand. I have many students with Attention Deficit and active due to the pandemic. Help me help them by giving them an outlet for excess and/or nervous energy! These wobble stools allow motion while students are seated, helping them be healthier by burning off energy and reducing stress at the same time.

Wobble chairs add activity without distraction to the classroom, increase focus in students with attention deficits, and improve posture by working core muscles.
