This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I would love for you all to help with are for my students to express their creativity! I want my students to explore various art tools such as using acrylic paints, markers, and other tools that will help them express their imagination! This will not only allow us to show our creativity but as well learn and connect art with our writing, reading, and other subject matters through a colorful and artsy lens. My students would love to utilize these tools to have a fun learning experience.

We will be needing markers, highlighters, pens, and whiteboard markers for the use of making examples or pointing out important information with the content we learn and will connect it with our art pieces!

The acrylic paint, paint holders, paintbrushes, and paint paper will be used when we design our creative projects that correlate with what we have been learning!

My students are special because they are amazing individuals with lots of love for learning and always have wonder! They would love these items to express themselves in different ways and using these items will give them the chance to express their learning through artistic themes! For example, we have been learning the lifecycle of a salmon and it’s habitat. What better way to showcase their informational writing pieces with the use of these tools to take a creative outlook and make an art piece to show where fry (beginning stage of a salmon) habitats start off in this lifecycle.

These items will impact their learning by giving learners the chance to showcase their learning in various forms. This gives them the choice to present themselves with their learning with visuals that connects to there content they learn.
