My Project

Hi everyone! I teach a passionate group of middle schoolers with special needs with a broad range of abilities. They work hard each day and want to learn. Reading comprehension starts with understanding word basics. Understanding base words, prefixes, and suffixes is a foundational skill for comprehension growth. I'm in need of engaging activities to supplement their IEP goals and growth.

My students students learn best with hands-on activities that reinforce the target concept in a variety of ways, so I have chosen games and vocabulary resources that are fun and colorful to keep the students engaged and motivated to learn.
