My students need word work materials to help with their reading fluency.

When you enter my classroom you can feel the positive energy and excitement in the atmosphere. My students have a love for learning and work so hard everyday on writing, reading, and math.
The school I work at consists of preschool through second grade and is in an urban area with a high poverty level.
I also have students with unique learning styles in my classroom. Some students require extra help and attention so that they can meet the standards.
Everyday is different and through good days and bad, these students prove to me why I love teaching. I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

My students need word work activities to help them build on their reading fluency. To be able to read, there is a process. Students must learn the letters and sounds. They take those and make words. The words become sentences and soon they're reading books.
The alphabet learning locks will help my students who are working to master their letters and sounds.
The build-a-word houses will help students who have mastered their letters and sounds and are ready to make consonant-vowel-consonant words. The 4-letter word building puzzles and the sound-it-out phonics puzzles will help students who are ready for more complex word building. The 2-syllable words instant learning center will allow students who are readers to learn to manipulate words.
Reading is a skill students will need for the rest of their lives. We talk about the importance of being able to read everyday in my classroom. Your generous donations will help students get to their goal of being able to read.
