My class is made up of unique learners working hard to showcase their personal best. Some of these students come from low-income homes, while others come from upper-middle-class homes. Our school is a K-12 building in a rural community with many different economic, home life, and educational backgrounds.
My students are energetic and love to move, like to read and enjoy hands-on learning experiences.
With a third of students coming from low-income homes, it is essential to provide them with the accurate supplies and create a loving environment within the classroom.
My Project
Students will be using letter stamps during word work centers. By supplying ink and stamps the students will be able to practice their weekly spelling words in the morning. By having a supply of wipes to clean up their area this will allow for a smooth transition.
Stamps for graded work and notes being sent home are also needed.
By having several teacher's created stamps to place on graded papers, notes needing to be signed, and important material being sent home this will allow the students and guardians to easily read and see the colorful stamped message on their student's paper.
