My students need Osmo Genius kit to learn science and math vocabulary in a challenging and interactive way. It will motivate students of all academic levels to learn and explore these concepts through a meaningful experience.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our 5th grade students are curious and very motivated group! They look for new opportunities to extend their thinking and to learn more about science and math. We want to foster their curiosity and critical thinking through this project!
Our fifth graders are an exciting group of students and we want to enrich their learning experiences in science and math classes through hands-on experiments!
Our students come from a diverse academic, social, and cultural backgrounds in a year-round public school.
My Project
We want to challenge our 5th grade students to learn essential science and math vocabulary in an innovative and meaningful way. Our goal is to support students to explore these concepts in order to apply it in different situations on subsequent grades.
Word Wizards is a project to support students vocabulary development, collaboration among students, and critical thinking as they explore and learn science and math concepts.
Through the Osmo system students will be able to collaborate with peers to identify science and math concepts using context clues. In addition, the interactive feature of the game system allows students to get real-time feedback.
