My Students

My students are mostly from low income households so they come to Kindergarten with little to no knowledge of any school skills. Being so young and in school there is so much to learn from academic skills as well as social skills. Us Kindergarten teachers have a wide range of different skilled students coming into our classroom when it comes August. I am always trying to find new ways to help me students be engaged in all my lessons!

I love my students, school, and community; they deserve nothing but the best.

I want to be that teacher that helps them start their education journey as their best success story!

My Project

My students this year are lower than the normal coming in kindergartners. I am worried about the movement that they need to make and if it will be capable. I'm hoping this word construction set will help them be able to recognize words better and build them better and then be able to read and write those letters better.

I want to make sure that my students have the resources they need to be able to be success within the year that they are with me as well as in their future.

I always love my students to be sight word wizards and using this set will help them be able to build and recognize kindergarten sight words better.
