This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are great kids who care deeply about their music education. They come from a multitude of backgrounds and life experiences. We are part of a much larger school district within Little Rock.

Our students have gone on to become educators, engineers, doctors, business leaders, and more.

We strive to build each other up through our musical journey to prepare each other to work in a diverse changing world.

A key part of having a successful experience in any band program is having the correct equipment. These cymbals, mallets, and reeds will impact multiple sections in our ensemble and help ensure that my students have what they need to be a successful part of our great band!
