Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Here at our school, we have over 500 students. We are a Title I school, which means that our students come from lower income households. Our school is a brand-new school, and we are very excited to be in the brand-new building and to start our own legacy.
I am the music teacher, which means that I get to teach every student in the building.
My students love to come to music to sing, dance, play instruments, and, most importantly, to learn!
My Project
We are planning on performing a fantastic musical this spring. What would really make our show special would be some amazing woodland animal costumes! My students will want to look their best on stage, and these costumes will help them do just that.
Our musical has foxes, owls, bunnies, mice, and deer in it, so we need to make sure that everyone is looking amazing!
In this project, we will have costumes for all of these critters! We already know that they will sound great. Now we need help to make sure our little performers will look as good as they will sound.
