Our students are filled with a pure love for learning and internal drive to accomplish all of their dreams. We are a Title 1 school, consisting of 75% of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. Additionally, 64% of our population are English Language Learners. With majority of our students living in poverty and learning the English, distance learning has been a dynamic challenge for our teachers, families, students, and staff. Our teachers and staff have been working endlessly to provide equitable educational opportunity for online learning
In preparation for the Fall, we want to ensure each child is receiving the most effective, inclusive, high quality instruction that is meeting the needs of all students to flourish in their learning.
To accomplish this goal, we need additional resources. By making a donation today, you will be giving a child the opportunity to receive the most they possibly can out of their education.
Each child receiving headphones and microphones for online learning will support us in our mission to cultivate high student achievement and provide an equitable, inclusive learning environment.
Headphones with microphones will allow them to use their voice to share their thinking, collaborate with peers, and engage in meaningful learning opportunities.
Additionally, it will support students' emotional and social well being by giving the opportunity for them to communicate and connect with one another.
Our county has provided laptops for every student to participate in online learning. Headphones with a microphone will be essential for each child to fully engage with teachers, peers, and the content.
