My Students

Writing allows children to build confidence and find their identity and voice. My students need engaging writing materials to become wonderful writers!

My students are in the Special Education program at our school.

They receive individualized educational plans to help meet their individual needs. The are loving, kind, and hard working! They love to learn, but need that "something extra" to help support their disabilities. My students rely on visual support, familiar routines and learning accommodations to help them.

My Project

These resources will provide my students with hands on materials that will help to improve their learning experience. With their given learning disabilities, my students face a number of challenges each day. These resources would help my students to become successful writers. With the use of these items, my students can have personal writing resources and materials to help relieve some of the stress that learning to write can bring.
