My Students

I teach at a Title 1 school in rural Kentucky, and my students are kind, motivated and always willing to tackle a challenge head on. They love to create, and I always provide my students with content that reaches all levels of learning. Whether it be singing, dancing, or creating multimedia projects, the students in my classroom are exposed to more than just pencil and paper work.

The students in my class are passionate learners, and I am committed to providing them with an engaging curriculum.

Through experiences with group projects, community partners and hands-on lessons, my students are developing the skills needed to become successful problem solvers and go out and tackle the world.

My Project

Scholastic provides awesome materials to use in the classroom! Students will be able to work at their own pace with these fun and interactive workbooks. There are many games and word/number puzzles in these workbooks. We will be able to save paper and ink by not having to make multiple copies of word work or math work.

These workbooks will help reinforce skills that we are learning in class!

The extra practice will help students to master skills needed to be successful in second grade! I think these are needed in every second grade classroom! They are great! Yay!
