Help me give my students resources such as 180 days of Reading and Daily Math Word Problems to help them achieve and grow as learners. These resources are 4th grade specific and will help them to excel.
I teach in a small, rural elementary school in the foothills of North Carolina. My school is a Title 1 school with a diverse background. My students come to me with a wide variety of learning needs and challenges; however, if you were to step foot in my classroom, you would never notice this. Despite the challenges that many of my students face, they are hardworking, compassionate, and eager to learn. Having the most basic tool for school should be the least of their worries!
My Project
These materials will serve as a tool in helping them to reach their academic potential. The Daily Math Word Problems and Daily Reading Comprehension passages will help them to build stamina and spiral through standards covered throughout the year. This will help them in preparations for their End of Grade test coming up later this year. It will also help them build confidence as they spiral through skills that have been taught in which they can show mastery. The 180 days of Reading will allow my students to engage in high interest passages that incorporate Science and Social Studies standards.
