This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Hello all! I am a first year teacher! Moving from the paraprofessional role to a 1st grade teacher! I am so excited to take on this new adventure with my new scholars. I want them to be able to have a space that is functional to insure a full and complete learning experience! I want my students to be excited each and every day they walk into the classroom and know that this is a safe space and ready for learning!

My Project

These materials will not only make learning fun, but expose my students to different was of learning. These manipulatives, including Build-A-Number Houses and linking cubes, are things my students have never been exposed to. I want to make learning fun and experiential. With your help, we can make that possible. Along with learning, I want my room to be a safe and comfortable place that my students will come to love and enjoy. These things, along with the carpet and books, will make my students what to come to school every day. These kids deserve to have the best, and I want to give them nothing but the best! Thank you for considering my class!
