This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are excited to read the book "Wonder". They can not afford to pay for these books on their own.

Our kids are inner city youth who have made tremendous progress in English this year.

They are looking forward to our class novel "Wonder". We feel that they will connect with this book because it is about a middle school boy attempting to fit in, despite his differences.

My Project

These books will change our students lives for the better because it will engage them in classroom discussions, activities, and assessments. Reading this book also provides us with the opportunity to discuss social issues that are pertinent to all middle school students.

Our project is so important because our students are struggling readers.

It is sometimes difficult to find texts that they are interested in but they unamimously excited to read this story!
