Wobbling Our Way to Success!

My students need four Hokki Stools to help them focus more on their writing and less on not being able to sit still.

My Students

Being in a school filled with students who come from mostly single-parent and low-income families, I want to show these students they really can do anything they set their mind to. My students are the future of America, and I remind them of that every single day.

My students are a great group of "Goal Getters" as we like to call ourselves.

They love to set goals and then smash them, often running to tell me they've upped a score, passed off a set of math facts, or gotten through three more fluency phrases than yesterday.

My Project

As adults, we have all have tools that help us work better. For some, this is a pen they can chew on while for others this might be earbuds in with their favorite music. Children are no different. I have students who might need a special pencil and others who need an immaculate desk to help them concentrate. While a pen, a pencil from the tooth fairy, or an organized work space are all easy to provide, I have some students with a little more of a concentration challenge. These students need to be moving in order to focus. However, a bouncing leg tires quickly when you're seven, and someone standing up and sitting down constantly is a major distraction to other students.

So why should some students be able to have their concentration tools but not others solely based on availability?

By donating to this project for Hokki stools, you will help my students who need to move in order to concentrate wobble their way into success.
