My Students
I teach an energetic group of 6 year old scholars that are on their way to becoming global learners. As an International Baccalaureate school, the Primary Years Program is designed for students of all cultures, backgrounds, areas, sex, religion, and race to merge ideas with one another to obtain a greater perspective of the world.
My students are excited about learning and are always inquisitive and continually reflect upon not only what is being taught but, how they can improve their social and emotional learning.
They love our reading time together and can be found with their head in many books from various genres. They beam with joy when they enter the classroom. Their smiles and hugs warm my heart! The time and dedication they put into their learning motivates me even more to do everything I can for them to reach their goals.
My Project
Chair pockets are needed for individual storage of personal items to be organized such as book bags for reading. Our classroom is complied of tables instead of desks and space is limited for scholars to be able to easily access their books during reading time. Chair pockets will offer additional space and teach scholars how to be organized at the same time.
A flexible seating arranging will accommodate all the busy bodies in the classroom.
Wobble seats will support my scholars with ADHD as well as keep scholars that love to move in their seats! I know that if my scholars are comfortable in their seats they can be more attentive in the classroom.
