My students need Wobble Chairs to have flexible seating in our classroom! These seats improve balance and concentration while giving students an opportunity to learn while moving!
This project expired on December 25, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I work in a public elementary school in St. Augustine, Florida. My students come in the classroom with a love of learning! They are always excited to start a new day and see what the day has to offer.
In my classroom, it's like you can see the future; you can walk in and see what these kids could be one day.
My classroom holds future doctors, paleontologists, veterinarians, police officers, teachers, dancers, and so much more!
We keep a fun and interactive environment in the classroom and treat each other with love and respect.
Young students learn best when movement is incorporated into lessons! Sadly, there isn't always an opportunity to link movement to a lesson. These seats give children the opportunity to move around and fidget as needed while concentrating on the lesson at hand. These seats improve focus, balance, and self-control in the classroom environment.
These Wobble Chairs will be used around our small group table.
Sitting on a moving seat is intriguing to a first grader. Sometimes working one-on-one with a teacher can be comfortable, and other times is can be stressful. Using these seats in this area will reduce the wandering of minds when students are working with the teacher. These seats will also be used for students who have a hard time focusing on work without fidgeting.
