I teach 2nd grade in Columbia, Missouri. When students come into my room they learn in different ways and at different rates. My goal is to ensure that I am meeting the needs of all the learners that come into my classroom. My students are eager to learn and work hard throughout the entire school day. I would love the opportunity to provide them with different ways to get their work done through flexible seating options. This way the wiggles that come along with being 7-8 years old are able to be let out while we focus in school.
My Project
These flexible seating options are a great way for students to stay engaged while working independently or in groups. They allow for increased physical movement while working, which will help keep their minds alert. They also make learning more comfortable and fun for the students in my class.
The wobble cushions allow for choices as these can be used on the floor or on a chair.
What an awesome way for them to take charge of how they work best. The exercise balls and exercise ball chair will be used at tables and in our classroom library to help them stay focused. These will be great options in increase the learning in our room.
