My students need Wobble chairs to allow students movement without distracting others around them. We need snug noise reducing headphones to allow students with sensitive ears to work without the noise and distractions of others.
In my Full Day Kindergarten, I teach 28 students. Teaching such a young age group is a lot of fun! They have a lot of energy and are very excited and curious about life. That being said, I have a wide range of personalities in my classroom.
My students will utilize the wobble chairs throughout the entire day and use the headphones the most during practice stations.
During practice stations in our classroom, students are allowed to move around when they are finished with their "must dos." When their "must dos" are done, they then have "may dos" that are placed around the classroom. These are various activities and games. From the "shy kid" to "class clown," my classroom has it all. Students engage and work together to create a classroom community. We are not just a classroom but a family.
My Project
The snug noise reducing head phones will allow students with more sensitive ears to work without the noise of others bothering them. We currently have a few in our classroom and all of my students want them. Having more in our classroom would be a great addition!
Kindergarten students have so much energy and love to move.
In our classroom we currently have 5 wobble chairs. My students LOVE them. These wobble chairs allow students to have movement without distracting others around them! If I was able I would have a class set of these! Students are in school all day and should be give the opportunity to move more. I try to give them as much movement as possible but the wobble chairs allow them to move whenever they would like. We look forward to having this great resource in our classroom.
