My Students

My students are energetic and fun loving children who want to learn! They have the ability to push themselves to new limits and in turn, make me want to do more to help them aspire to greater heights. They live to learn and I love walking with them on their academic journey.

My students are creative, clever, and extremely spontaneous!

I teach them to take charge of their learning and to rely on each other and outside sources as forms of knowledge, not just their teacher. They become independent learners and teachers at the same time. Accountability, achievement, and engagement soar in my classroom!

My Project

Every child that enters my classroom is unique in so many ways and as their teacher, it is my duty to provide them with the tools they need to be successful. This year, I have noticed that many of my students have trouble sitting still in the traditional plastic chairs. Therefore, I am beginning to implement flexible seating into my classroom.

I believe that wobble chairs will not only increase focus and motivation but will also help create a student-centered learning environment.

These wobble chairs are specially designed chairs that will help my energetic students to safely wiggle and wobble without distracting others. They will be used on a daily basis by a wide range of children. I believe that these materials will help all of my students feel more supported and comfortable for years to come.
