"We are capable of amazing things!" These are the words my kindergartners chant when they get ready to start the day. These little people enter my class, in an urban public school, with a smile on their face. Their energy levels blazing! They come in all different sizes, ethnic groups, and financial levels.
However, regardless of those differences, my students display the following traits.
• Abundance of enthusiasm to learn
• Loving innocence of the world
• Desire to please you
I call them my little “Kiddies,” which they love! These kids deserve the best. They are like pieces of clay, wanting to be molded. This is the age where a teacher can introduce them to the wonders of learning. Kindergarten is the springboard to future success and the love of school!
My Project
My kindergarten student are so happy being in school, leaning new things, and playing with their friends. These little people are bubbling over with curiosity and excitement. With all this pent up energy, it is sometimes difficult to calm down and focus on certain tasks. However, this excitement is what makes each of my little learners so fun and unique. I do not want to stiffle this energy. Instead, I want to equip my room with furniture that will help my students gain the focus they need to succeed. These wobble seats offer that outlet in a quit, calm way that will accommodate all of my students. These stools can easily be moved to support various arrangements throughout my classroom. Wobbling while learning has never been so much fun!
