Our classroom is a diverse group of second-grade students. Our classroom is one that encourages movement and engagement simultaneously. My students come to school full of questions and energy! They crave hands-on, active, and engaging lessons that promote them moving throughout our day!
Regardless of their learning level or learning style, I believe they can reach their full potential.
My students are unique and have their own individual learning style. These tools will support each individual learning style while encouraging them to reach their full potential.
My Project
Wobble chairs, wobble cushions, and rolling stools are a needed resource for the students in my class who need to move throughout our whole and small group lessons in order to focus. My students love to move their little bodies, their chairs, and to swing their legs which can be dangerous and distracting. Wobble chairs are a great alternative because they are designed to move, but won't tip over like a normal chair. Wobble cushions provide just enough movement to a student while sitting on our carpet without distracting their peers.
These items will encourage and promote active learning while keeping everyone focused and engaged.
