My Students

Every one of my students is unique and special to make up our amazing class. We are a very diverse group with many different needs. Many of the students have sensory and movement needs that need to be met.

My hope is that I can teach them to identify what they need to help them learn and focus.

As well as, teach them what they can do to help themselves succeed during our school day. Not only in kindergarten, but their entire life.

My Project

I am a big believer in moving while learning. Many times it can appear a student is not paying attention while moving or fidgeting but usually they are.

Kindergartners are very active and they need the opportunity to move even while they are learning!

Wobble seats will allow them to have a little movement without disrupting others learning. Providing them with what they need to focus.

With 23 students in our class there are times a lot of noise can happen. The noise canceling headphones are very beneficial when a student needs some quiet to think or are feeling overwhelmed by all the sounds.
