My Students

I teach AMAZING 5th grade students in a low-income neighborhood. The students are the light of the school! This year has been much different as we have been remote learning since the start. Despite this new normal that we are in, my students deserve the absolute best and they show up every single day to learn even from a virtual distance. I want to make sure that I make them successful this year as I teach during a pandemic.

My Project

My students will be coming back when the covid numbers are lower. Until then, I want to find ways that will help students in the classroom. These chairs would help students wobble while they work, so their brains stay awake and they continue to do their work. Since covid restricts students from moving around in the room, the wobbly chairs would help them get the jitterbugs out while they are working at their desks. It would be such a great change from the boring and uncomfortable school chairs that we currently have.
